Why Think on Tees came into being.
I realized early in my journey it was imperative to keep forefront of my mind, all the qualities, spiritual concepts and universal laws I wanted to assimilate and ingrain into my thinking. We are conditioned beings therefore, to change the way we perceive things, we have to re-new our minds by cultivating and nurturing new beliefs to take root. The only way we do that is to keep our attention on the ideas. Remember, "a belief is only a thought we keep thinking over and over".
I pasted post-it notes all over my house with concise, deeply felt messages mirroring the sense of what I wanted to integrate. I kept focus on one quality at a time to remain centered. Say I wanted to understand and grow the vibration of kindness in my subconscious as an ideal state, I would post-it my bathroom mirror and refrigerator (choose places you go to several times a day). One note may say; "Kindness or goodness is the fruit of the Spirit" or “My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness” - (Dalai Lama.)
Each time I see one of these notes, I would take a moment to pause and breathe in the feeling of what it means and what my intention is. It is significant to realize each time, I was intensifying the vibration within me and cementing as my new reality. Every cell in our bodies, every fiber of our being is connected and responding to whatever it is, we keep putting our attention on. That is the Law of attraction.
@Thinkontees are those reminders; practicing being in the moment. What better way to re-condition the mind than to wear constant reminders. Let us face it, we are like Pavlov's dogs, brainwashed to react to what we have learned and accepted as true. Most framed and indoctrinated by society (mass consciousness). Unfortunate thing is, much what's fed to us from birth is self-destructive because it is based on comparison, competition, shallow values pushing a notion that our physical bodies represent who we are.
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Freedom comes when we remain consistent with our practice to reclaim our thinking hence, our beliefs. Freedom comes when we are conscious enough to guide our thoughts towards Divine principles encouraging love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness as core foundation of who we are. T-shirts with bold designs highlighting timeless truths are a way to keep these principles at the forefront of our consciousness. Be diligent in our practice.
